Hold onto your hats, because the trailer for Noah has arrived, and it's pretty eye-popping. Russell Crowe plays the biblical figure Noah, who receives a message from God that a great flood is coming to cleanse the Earth of sin. It's up to Noah to save the human race, along with every species on the planet. It's a tall order, and it looks like his boat is playing host to more than just two of each animal (so many snakes!) as described in the Bible. Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, and Logan Lerman all costar in the epic drama, directed by Black Swan's Darren Aronofsky.
Prepare to get some flashbacks to A Beautiful Mind as you watch Crowe and Connelly share the same screen again. Despite the pairing, this movie could not be more different than their 2001 collaboration. The world they're living in here is dangerous and savage, even before news of the flood hits. I can't get over the spectacular shots of the floodwaters surrounding the ark and all of its inhabitants. This should be worth a watch, if only to see the special effects. Noah is set for a March 28 release date, and you can see the trailer after the jump.
