Diane Kruger got literal support from Joshua Jackson when he guided his girlfriend to the Host screening at The Cinema Society in NYC yesterday. She wore a black Chanel dress and sky-high Christian Louboutin boots, which may have been part of the reason Joshua needed to walk her to the premiere. Diane was joined at the screening by her costars Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, and Jake Abel, as well as the author of the book the film is based on, Stephenie Meyer. Other NYC celebrities also attended the big event, including Olivia Palermo and Kelly Rutherford.

Diane has been busy with promotional duties for her newest film and Joshua has been staying by her side through her whole tour. He walked the red carpet with her at the LA premiere of The Host and took her on a dinner date in NYC earlier this week. Diane's duties aren't over just yet, as she'll also be appearing on Good Morning America today to chat about the new flick.

Celebrity Women Get Real About Body Image Issues

She may have won two Golden Globes last weekend for her HBO series, Girls, but lately the most-talked about topic in regards to writer, filmmaker, and actress Lena Dunham has been her weight, not her talent.

She may have won two Golden Globes last weekend for her HBO series, Girls, but lately the most-talked about topic in regards to writer, filmmaker, and actress Lena Dunham has been her weight, not her talent. Radio host Howard Stern is in hot water for calling Lena a "little fat chick." And while Lena told David Letterman last week that the comments "put me in the best mood," the 26-year-old has been honest that she's had a love-hate relationship with her body, despite displaying it so freely on her show. She told New York Magazine:

"It's a very specific body. Even great reviews will be like: chubby, portly, overweight. . . . Sometimes I'm like, 'Ugh, how did I make myself the guinea pig for this?' But on the other hand, hating my body has not been my cross to bear in this life. Which I feel very lucky about."

Several famous women have opened up about their struggles with body image and eating disorders. Katie Couric revealed on her talk show that she struggled with bulimia when interviewing another famous lady who's dealt with eating disorders, Demi Lovato. And Lady Gaga, who has faced criticism about her weight gain, launched a movement called A Body Revolution to encourage body acceptance. She said she started it to "inspire bravery," adding, "Be brave and celebrate with us your 'perceived flaws,' as society tells us. May we make our flaws famous, and thus redefine the heinous."

Many celebrity women have courageously talked about what they don't like about their bodies, their past eating disorder issues, and how they've overcome a negative body image. Let's be inspired to accept our bodies just how they are with these encouraging words now!

Sandra Bullock Goes Sleek and Shiny For Her Premiere With Tom Hanks

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close stars Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock teamed up in NYC last night for their premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close stars Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock teamed up in NYC last night for their premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre. They posed on the red carpet with their young leading man, Thomas Horn, before hitting the press line. Sandra's been talking up Thomas's exceptional acting all week, including yesterday on the Today show, telling Matt Lauer, "He might only be 13, 14, but he's far more educated, wiser, kind, empathetic than most adults in this room."

Sandra wore an Alexander McQueen pantsuit and sported a sleek-haired look. The role in the 9/11 film is Sandra's first since winning an Oscar for The Blind Side in 2010. Memories of the attacks are still raw for the actress, and Sandra shared her experiences from 9/11 recently. Sandra said, "I was here. I saw it. I saw the second plane. I saw people falling. It's never left. I think if you're here in New York and you saw and you felt and you heard, it doesn't leave. I mean you can sort of quiet it, but you hear a sound, you see an image, you look up at the clear blue sky and see a beautiful building. It doesn't go anywhere."

Is Gabourey Sidibe Getting Her Own Makeup Line?

At a recent Estée Lauder party, rumors started to swirl that a certain star in attendance, Gabourey Sidibe, might be working on a color cosmetics collection.

At a recent Estée Lauder party, rumors started to swirl that a certain star in attendance, Gabourey Sidibe, might be working on a color cosmetics collection. WWD reports that the Precious star's connection to the event was likely through Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, part of the Estée family.

Earlier this year, Bobbi Brown herself did Gabourey's makeup for the Golden Globes, but are the two partnering for some sort of makeup collaboration? Only time will tell, but the actress is said to have visited Bobbi's offices last Wednesday. (Which obviously means she's working on a makeup line, not just stopping by for one of infinite other possible reasons.) What do you think of the rumor? Would you like to see Gabourey's touch on the beauty business?
