Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana, and more starlets hit the Chateau Marmont in LA last night for a special dinner party held in honor of designer Prabal Gurung. Along with Vogue magazine and MAC Cosmetics, Prabal invited a group of famous friends to celebrate his designs. Diane Kruger bared her stomach alongside boyfriend Joshua Jackson, while Ginnifer Goodwin had her boyfriend, Josh Dallas, and their Once Upon a Time costar Jennifer Morrison for company. Prabal circulated around the event with the "wonderful as ever" Hailee Steinfeld and Star Trek Into Darkness costars Alice Eve and Zachary Quinto. Allure cover girl Zoe Saldana made a stylist appearance alongside Amber Valletta and Jaime King. Rachel Zoe, meanwhile, brought husband Rodger Berman and later tweeted that they had "such a special evening!"
For the 2013 Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the stars took the punk theme to the extreme. Mohawks, smoky eye makeup, colored hair, and more rocker chic beauty looks were spotted on the red carpet. We count down the top five looks that had our jaws dropping and crown the biggest surprise of the night. On Jessica: Monika Chiang top, Club Monaco necklace, and Ella Moss jacket. On Allie: BCBG Max Azria jacket and top.
Tonight's Met Gala was all about punk, and many of Hollywood's sweetest celebrities jumped at the chance to amp up the edge on the red carpet. While we expected stars like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry to embrace their rock chick roots, seeing celebrities like Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift, and Allison Williams go for more daring ensembles was fun to watch play out at the bash. Anne went platinum blond, Dakota Fanning showed off serious skin, Allison got into a goth mood, and Ginnifer Goodwin sported dramatic eye makeup for the night. Click through to see these stars and many more good girls get into the punk spirit at the 2013 Met Gala, and make sure to check out all the ladies on the Met Gala red carpet!
Jessica Alba and Ginnifer Goodwin joined their choice designer of the night, Tory Burch, as they walked the red carpet at the 2013 Met Gala in NYC tonight. Jessica rocked a blue leather embellished gown, while Ginnifer shimmered in gold sequins and topped her look off with electrifying eyeliner. Jessica, indeed, is no stranger to the fashion-filled event, having previously attended the party while wearing Ralph Lauren in 2011 and a gown by Michael Kors last year. Jessica's journey to NYC comes hot on the heels of her recent trip to Seoul, South Korea, where she spoke at a digital conference on behalf of her Internet company, The Honest Company. Be sure to vote on Jessica's look and many more red carpet frocks in our 2013 Met Gala fashion polls.
When you've got short hair like Ginnifer Goodwin, dramatic eye makeup is a given. The actress appeared on the red carpet with inky black shadow and liner that extended from her lash line to her eyebrows. A textured mohawk-esque hairstyle kept with the punk theme.

Baseball season is in full swing, and Ginnifer Goodwin and Julianne Hough teamed up to open last night's Dodgers game with the first pitch in LA. Many other stars have had the honor of taking the mound to throw the first pitch for their favorite baseball teams as well. Victoria Beckham donned an LA Dodgers jacket to throw the ceremonial ball, while Matthew McConaughey suited up in Mets gear to show his skills in NYC. Tom Cruise packed some heat on his pitch at a professional baseball game in Japan, and Gisele Bündchen showed off her muscles on the mound in Boston.
Plenty of other celebrities have had the honor of the inaugural throw — click through the gallery to see the rest of the stars who have thrown the first pitch!
At the 30th annual PaleyFest in Beverly Hills last night, Ginnifer Goodwin and Olivia Munn both chose eye-catching dresses for their appearances. At the Once Upon a Time event, Ginnifer's pretty confection popped thanks to the orange hue and sheen of her jewel-embellished dress by Raoul, which she finished with white ankle-strap sandals. For The Newsroom festivities, Olivia also opted for a stem-baring silhouette in a white J. Mendel mini with a deep-V neckline. She completed her look with gold-and-white ankle-strap pumps and a white box clutch. Both actresses shined in their ensembles, but which look gets your vote?
Ginnifer Goodwin looked party-ready at the Vanity Fair Oscar fete wearing a metallic blue Monique Lhuillier fit-and-flare dress. Textural shimmer gave her look a futuristic feel, while criss-cross sandals provided a glamorous touch. Meanwhile, slick, wet hair and a stunning smoky eye finished off her afterparty ensemble. Are you loving it?

A few of the most fashionable celebrities in Hollywood turned out for Chanel's pre-Oscars dinner in LA last night. Best actress nominee Jessica Chastain and Kate Bosworth wore Chanel dresses for the event, where they rubbed elbows with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Ginnifer Goodwin, January Jones, and Rachel Zoe.
Jessica walked the red carpet solo, but she raised plenty of eyebrows the previous night when she left the Women in Film pre-Oscars bash with boyfriend Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo. She has been notoriously tight-lipped about her romantic life, but it was revealed that Jessica Chastain's boyfriend has connections to the fashion industry: he's an executive at Moncler. However, Jessica will be taking her grandmother — not boyfriend Gian — to the Oscars, where she is up for the best actress prize. Don't forget to tune in to our LIVE Oscars red carpet coverage and viewing party starting tonight at 5:30 p.m. EST/2:30 p.m. PST.
A classic makeup style that can turn any look from ho hum to seriously gorgeous is the dramatic eye, and this week three stars showed us how to do it. Selena Gomez opted for a metallic smoky eye, while Anne Hathaway kept her shadow long, thin, and feathered. And Ginnifer Goodwin proved that when in doubt, a flicked-out cat eye works wonders, especially with a cheeky pixie cut. All three looks were vastly different while being equally dramatic, but whose did you prefer?
