Shia LaBeouf Gets Real About His Recent "Hiccups"

Shia LaBeouf made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday to promote his upcoming film, Fury. In addition to talking up the war drama, which also stars Brad Pitt and Logan Lerman, Shia also opened up about the recent troubles in his personal life that have panned out in the press over the course of the year. The actor spoke about his headline-making performance art exhibit in LA and his dramatic arrest in NYC, saying, "I spit on a cop. That's a no-no. I'm sorry if you're watching dude. I'm sorry."

Shia also shared sweet details about his relationship with his mom, Shayna, and how she has helped him get through hard times, as well as gushing to Ellen about his new favorite pastime, running (of course, Ellen had a cheeky gift for him to wear on his 12-mile outings).
