Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, and Bérénice Marlohe hit the red carpet for the Paris premiere of Skyfall today. The actors flanked their new Bond girl, who wore a gray sequined Elie Saab gown for the event, and were joined on the carpet by director Sam Mendes. The cast is in France after unveiling the film in the UK earlier this week. The London premiere brought out Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, as well as Daniel's other half, Rachel Weisz. Also along for the Skyfall press tour are Javier's wife, Penélope Cruz, and their, son Leo. The family touched down together at a Paris airport earlier today, just ahead of the big premiere.
Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz arrived at an airport outside of Paris with their son, Leo, today. The family of three is on the go while Javier promotes Skyfall around the world. He and Daniel Craig hit the red carpet in London yesterday for a royal premiere with Bond girls Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris after also posing at a photocall on Monday. Earlier this month, the costars got together in NYC, where they talked up their latest 007 movie at the Crosby Street Hotel. Javier switched gears to promoting the iconic action role after filming another project, The Counselor, with Penélope, Cameron Diaz, and Michael Fassbender last month. He was able to fit in family time between projects, though, and stepped out for dinner with Penélope's siblings, Monica and Eduardo.
Daniel Craig looked dapper in his Tom Ford tuxedo to premiere Skyfall in London this evening. He was joined by his wife Rachel Weisz, as well as costars Javier Bardem, his wife Penelope Cruz, and the two newest Bond girls, Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, at Royal Albert Hall for the UK premiere. The stars had some help in unveiling the 23rd official Bond film — Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, were in attendance, too! Daniel Craig responded to the royal recognition his film received by saying, "It's an amazing event and to have the royals here — it's the cherry on the cake."
Last week, Daniel, Javier, Bérénice, and Naomie promoted their film in NYC before heading across the pond for the world premiere. Yesterday, the Bond crew assembled for a photocall to kick off the festivities in London. Skyfall opens in the UK tomorrow, but US audiences have to wait until Friday, Nov. 9.
Javier Bardem and Daniel Craig, along with their costars Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, and Judi Dench, brought Skyfall to London today. They kicked off press for the latest James Bond movie in NYC last week, when the new Bond girls, Bérénice and Naomie, made their promotional debut stateside. Before Javier hit the road for the film, he was busy working on another project, The Counselor, in Spain. His wife, Penélope Cruz, is also a part of The Counselor, though the couple broke from production to spend time with family recently. Javier and Penélope met up with Penélope's siblings, Monica and Eduardo, in Madrid, where they grabbed dinner. Javier's 007 duties will continue as the action film is being released in the UK on Friday and heads to US theaters on Nov. 9.
Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem went to dinner with their extended families, including her sister, Monica, and brother, Eduardo, in Madrid last night. Both Javier and Penélope are home in the city following a few months of working on their joint project, The Counselor, elsewhere — they kicked things off with director Ridley Scott in London, then relocated to Alicante, Spain, for additional time on set. The next month is set to be full of work for Javier. In addition to working on The Counselor, he's got the next James Bond film, Skyfall, headed to theaters in Europe in late October and here in the US on Nov. 9.
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem boarded a train in Alicante, Spain on Saturday. They're in their Spanish homeland to spend time on the set of their joint project, The Counselor, from director Ridley Scott. Penelope and Javier went south after spending time in London making Cameron Diaz. The Spanish location also allowed for Penelope to attend the San Sebastián Film Festival to show off another of her new projects, Twice Born. She made two stunning appearances there, first donning a floral L'Wren Scott number for a photocall and later wearing a vintage red Versace gown to her premiere.
Cameron Diaz slipped into a sexy dress and high heels to film scenes for The Counselor opposite Javier Bardem today in Alicante, Spain. She changed into another printed number during her latest day on set. Cameron's fake neck tattoo was once again on display after she revealed the artwork for the cameras in London earlier this month. While in the UK, she found time to dine with Javier and his wife, Penelope Cruz, who is also currently in Spain. Today, Penelope made an appearance at the San Sebastian Film Festival to promote her latest project, Twice Born.
Michael Fassbender strolled onto the London set of The Counselor on Monday with a toothpick hanging out of his mouth. He strutted around in character, while nearby, his costar Javier Bardem tried to keep cool with the aid of a handheld fan. The project has a few of Hollywood's hottest stars making interesting physical transformations. For his part, Javier's sporting spiked hair and glasses, while Cameron Diaz modeled fake neck tattoos and Brad Pitt dressed as a cowboy. Javier's real-life leading lady, Penélope Cruz, also stars in the film, though she's been on the road in recent weeks promoting her forthcoming Twice Born.
Cameron Diaz got into character on the London set of The Counselor Wednesday. She wore a printed gown and sported a fake neck tattoo for the role. Cameron's working on the project after celebrating her 40th birthday on the East Coast last week. The movie's cast features plenty of other famous faces, including Brad Pitt, who filmed his part last month. Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz are also in the film, and they got away from the set to meet up with Cameron for dinner last night. Penelope, Javier, and Cameron stopped by 34 Restaurant in Mayfair together before Cameron continued her night out at La Bodega Negra.
After viewing the trailer for Skyfall, the newest James Bond installment, I am sufficiently excited to see all the crazy stunts on the big screen. Sadly for me, that's not gonna happen until November. The good news is that I have all these amazing pics of Daniel Craig as the iconic superspy, Javier Bardem as the new evil genius, and the rest of these pics from Skyfall to tide us over until then.
