John Krasinski was joined by his wife, Emily Blunt, for the final screening of NBC's The Office last night in LA. The Office era came to a close after nine seasons with the airing of the series finale yesterday. John said goodbye to his beloved character of Jim, after sharing a special moment with onscreen love Pam in the episode. He took to his social media account to reveal his emotions over the end of the show, writing, "So this is it. There's truly nothing I can say to tell you all how much your love and support of this show has meant. Thank you. Thank you!"
Although it was obviously an emotional occasion for The Office crew, John revealed that no tears were shed on the final day on set explaining, "I don't think there were any tears. I'm saving mine for Barbara Walters! But the only thing that prevented us from having a meltdown is we're all so proud of the show." That's not to say there were dry eyes at all times since he did admit to tearing up during the retrospective that aired ahead of the final episode. The finale also held a heart-felt surprise with the return of a special member of the cast — were you satisfied with how things ended for The Office? Be sure to weigh in with our poll!
Brace yourself for some waterworks. Images of The Office's series finale have been released, and we've got a bit of a mixed bag. Dwight leads the company in martial arts practice out in the parking lot, Jim and Pam are smiling (hopefully happily ever after), and Andy is grinning like a maniac. The one-hour finale airs at 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, on NBC. Will you be watching to see how the series closes?
The Office's series finale is this week, and original series star John Krasinski is already feeling emotional about the impending end. When I sat down to talk to the actor recently, he got sentimental about the show, talking about what it's meant to him and his career. Watch him open up about his feelings and talk about how nice it would be to have former costar Steve Carell stop by.
I thought this day would never come, but The Office's much-hyped series finale is airing tonight. If you think you're sad, imagine how Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, and Rainn Wilson feel. In an extended tribute video from NBC, the three stars share their feelings on what the show has meant to them over the course of its nine seasons, they thank the fans, and things get emotional. I assume we'll get to see even more of the interviews during the prefinale retrospective, airing before the episode. In the meantime, check out the clip and make sure the tissues are close at hand.
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski made a smiley arrival at LAX together yesterday. The couple touched down in LA while holding hands after a busy stay in NYC. John accompanied a Carolina Herrera-clad Emily to Monday night's Met Gala along with a plethora of other A-listers. His trip to the East Coast was not just about fashion, as he was also promoting the final episode of The Office, which airs on May 16.
As part of his promo tour, John made a stop on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, which involved him in a hilarious lip-syncing battle with the host. He performed Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" and had a good time doing it. He wrote on his Twitter account, "Oh my Lord! Had the best time ever with Jimmy Fallon tonight!"
If you thought Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake's "History of Rap" skits were good, then you're gonna love Fallon's lip-sync-off with John Krasinski. Last night, The Office's very own Jim Halpert brought out the big guns, doing some seriously impassioned lip-syncing and dancing to the tune of "Teenage Dream" and more. Fallon provided some pretty solid competition, but it was all over when Krasinski took on "I'll Make Love to You" — complete with a little bit of stripping. It's over eight minutes long, but it's also probably the best thing you'll see all day.

John Krasinski stopped by the Late Show With David Letterman this week, opening up about how the tears were flowing when the cast of The Office wrapped their final episode. So what's next for John? The Met Gala may be all about the ladies' fashion, but the gentlemen sure do clean up well too. Whether they're on the arm of someone special year after year — like John Krasinski alongside Emily Blunt, Tom Brady with Gisele Bündchen, and Joshua Jackson next to Diane Kruger — showing a date the ropes like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, or just looking mighty fine all on their own like Eddie Redmayne or Alexander Skarsgard, we welcome these stylish guys. Some of them may even outshine their better halves. So weigh in — which hot guy is your pick for king of the Met Gala?
