Kate Winslet got into character on the set of A Little Chaos in the English countryside yesterday. She was joined by director Alan Rickman for the day of shooting, which was her latest after appearing in a purple robe for the cameras on Sunday as well. The drama follows Kate's character, who is a landscape gardener, as she competes against a fellow gardener, played by Matthias Schoenaerts, to design a fountain at Versailles for Louis XIV. Kate's new role is one of multiple projects she has in the works, including Divergent. Production has already started on the big-screen adaptation of the young adult novel with a cast that now includes Shailene Woodley, Ashley Judd, and Zoe Kravitz. When Kate's not busy working, she's been spending time with her husband, Ned Rocknroll, and the two spent a March date night at the London premiere of The Book of Mormon.
Production recently began on Divergent, and today we found out one more bit of casting news in the adaptation of Veronica Roth's young adult novel. Tony Goldwyn has been announced as the latest cast member, joining last week's new addition of Ashley Judd as the parents of main character Tris. Tris is played by Shailene Woodley in the film, which will depict a divided society of factions and a teenage girl (Woodley) who discovers she falls into more than one faction. Find out who else will star in Divergent, and if you read the book, let us know if the casting mirrors your vision.
Newlyweds Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll joined a slew of British stars when they attended the London premiere of Book of Mormon last night. The couple skipped the red carpet but were spotted leaving the theater hand in hand. Plenty of celebrities did walk the red carpet, including Homeland's Damian Lewis, Rufus Sewell, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Downton Abbey stars Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera, and Laura Carmichael. These stars aren't the only celebrities who are fans of the hit musical — last week Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake saw Book of Mormon on Broadway in NYC.
