Anne Hathaway joined a variety of current and former Saturday Night Live stars for the American Museum of Natural History's 2010 Gala yesterday evening. Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Abby Elliott, and more had the evening off from prepping for this weekend's new episode, which Anne will be hosting. Anne made a rare public appearance with boyfriend Adam Shulman on her arm, while Tina Fey also enjoyed a date night with her husband, Jeff Richmond. Lately, Anne has been inseparable from her Love and Other Drugs costar Jake Gyllenhaal, who hit the town instead with Natalie Portman for a charity party. Jake and Anne have been all over in the run-up to Wednesday's release of their movie, and you seem excited to finally see their supposedly steamy chemistry up on the big screen.

Last night on Glee, we learned that main character Rachel Berry was indeed named after Rachel Green of Friends due to the fact that her two dads were huge fans of the show. And after all these years, it appears that people are still fans of Jennifer Aniston's fashionable character, as British women are still requesting "The Rachel."

The layered shag has been worn by nearly 11 million British women since it first became popular back in 1994. According to a poll by Goody, while "The Rachel" may be the most requested style, Meg Ryan's choppy bob and Dannii Minogue's sleek X Factor bob came in second and third place, respectively. Also popular were Farrah Fawcett's flip, Princess Diana's classic crop, and Victoria Beckham's "Pob" cut.

As far as the famous Rachel cut is concerned, I'm not completely shocked by the findings. We've seen modern variations of the cut going strong for years now. (Think Kate Moss's layered style.) "It’s a cut that flatters almost everyone, designed to make women look beautiful," stylist Mark Woolley told the Daily Express. What say you regarding this longtime trend? Lindsay Lohan bucked the gown trend and opted for a short, tight, white dress for the Chopard 150th Anniversary Party during Cannes last night. LL has been partying all over the Riviera while she's in trouble back home in LA, where her lawyer reiterated that Lindsay needs to be back for her Thursday court date. Kate Beckinsale continues to grace as many red carpets as possible as one of the festival's judges. Naomi Watts is in France to premiere both Fair Game and her Woody Allen project You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger while Marion Cotillard was fresh off the Christian Dior cruise show in Shanghai. Paris Hilton twittered updates throughout the evening, and was especially excited to tell Nicole Richie that her dad Lionel performed.

Elle Decor's June 2010 issue, on newsstands May 24, is devoted to the cozy Martha's Vineyard home of none other than the sophisticated Meg Ryan. With the help of Bedford, NY, interior design firm Satinwood, the actress renovated and decorated the large, cedar-shingled home, transforming it into a relaxing beachside escape. A long-time design enthusiast, Meg says, "I feel like I've been renovating houses my whole life. I've renovated apartments, lofts, a log cabin in Montana. I'm constantly ripping pages out of magazines in search of inspiration." Satinwood's Marsha Russell even copped, "Meg wanted someone to bounce ideas off and to find things for her. But she's the visionary on this project. She has a wonderful aesthetic and a great eye."

Ryan's Martha's Vineyard home is a far cry from the glitz of other celebrity homes we've seen (like Khloe Kardashian's office). She's washed the walls in warm white and given each room a relaxed, rustic vibe with casual elements like sisal carpet, worn wood, and industrial pendants. In a word, it's livable. I'd move right in.
