The fun wasn't over for the Met Gala 2013 attendees in NYC last night as they flocked to the Standard Hotel following the ball for the official afterparty at the Boom Boom Room. Madonna stripped out of her bum-baring Met Gala outfit and changed into a fishnet body stocking and black lacy lingerie to mingle with guests like Katy Perry, Allison Williams, and Frank Ocean. She wasn't the only star who made a costume change — Amanda Seyfried took off her gown and changed into a baggy black t-shirt to hit the dance floor with Frank. Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr met up with January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence arrived with Marion Cotillard, Gerard Butler mingled with Karolina Kurkova, andNicole Richie connected with Kirsten Dunst, and Mary-Kate Olsen snuggled with boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy. There's no denying it: the Met Gala red carpet debuted some of the sexiest dresses we've seen this year.

There's no denying it: the Met Gala red carpet debuted some of the sexiest dresses we've seen this year. We're talking thigh-high slits, sheer insets, lacy finishes, plunging necklines, and even some corsets and harnesses (the theme of this year's bash was punk, after all). From Constance Jablonski's hand-crafted golden Wes Gordon gown to a serious display of skin from Miranda Kerr in Michael Kors and Anja Rubik's moto-inspired red leather Anthony Vaccarello mini, our favorite starlets and models weren't afraid to show just how sexy this year's theme could be. What's the point of punk if you can't push the envelope a little, anyway?

The End of Punk: Stars Let Their Hair Down Leaving the Met Gala

The 2013 Met Gala may have given celebrities a chance to channel their inner punk rocker in NYC yesterday, but once the event drew to a close, it was clear that these edgy new looks were only meant to last for the night.

The 2013 Met Gala may have given celebrities a chance to channel their inner punk rocker in NYC yesterday, but once the event drew to a close, it was clear that these edgy new looks were only meant to last for the night. Stars like Cameron Diaz and Miranda Kerr were spotted returning to their normal selves as they left the bash, with Cameron chatting on her cell phone as she waited for her car and Miranda enlisting Michael Kors to help her navigate the stairs in her heels. Emma Roberts got help from Jaime King as she left the party, clutching onto her pal's hand as she carefully walked down the museum's famous stairs while Gwen Stefani made a smooth exit with Gavin Rossdale. Meanwhile, stars like Anne Hathaway and Taylor Swift were showing no signs of slowing down, using the mass exit of celebrities as a chance to catch up with their favorite small-screen stars like Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and New Girl's Zooey Deschanel.

Of course, just because the Met Gala wrapped up, that didn't mean the party had ended. Anne, Miranda, and many more celebrities hit up the afterparty at the Boom Boom Room later to dance the night away — be sure to check out the pictures from the Met Gala 2013 afterparty.

Cutout Faceoff: Who Wore the Sexy Look Best?

In the past, punk felt a bit more synonymous with grunge than sex bomb, but last night's Met Gala was ready and willing to change that notion.

In the past, punk felt a bit more synonymous with grunge than sex bomb, but last night's Met Gala was ready and willing to change that notion. A slew of starlets stepped out in cutout gowns that flashed patches of skin for a sultry sizzle. Carey Mulligan toyed with the idea in a Balenciaga gown that revealed her waist, while Jessica Alba picked a sparkling Tory Burch number that put the attention front and center, courtesy of open patches above and below the bust. Miranda Kerr showed off most of her top half with a Michael Kors T-bar column dress, and Emma Watson felt the punkiest of all in a Prabal Gurung pick that looked slashed at both the shoulder and waist. So, when all's said and done, which sexy cutout look was your favorite of the night?

On the (Chic) Scene: The Style Set Parties Before the Met Gala

The Met Gala may be but a day away, but the style set has already descended upon NYC in preparation of fashion's biggest night.

The Met Gala may be but a day away, but the style set has already descended upon NYC in preparation of fashion's biggest night. And last night's party scene is proof (times three) that we're in for a jam-packed red carpet come Monday night. To toast Dolce & Gabbana's Fifth Avenue flagship store opening, Gisele Bündchen, Kylie Minogue, and Stacy Keibler all stepped out in the label's sexy cocktail fare. Not to be outdone, Moda Operandi and Net-a-Porter both held swanky affairs, playing host to the likes of Karolína Kurková, Kate Bosworth, and a polka-dot-clad Miranda Kerr. It was, to say the least, an evening of epic style proportions. See who wore what on the pre-Met Gala party scene, right this way.

She's Shoots, She Scores! Miranda Kerr Brings Her A-Game For Vogue

It's safe to say that Miranda Kerr will always look flawless — even while playing sports.

It's safe to say that Miranda Kerr will always look flawless — even while playing sports. Miranda hit the basketball court for a Vogue photo shoot in NYC on Thursday to model pieces from Michael Kors, including a pair of shiny gold metallic shorts and platform sneakers. She took to Instagram earlier this week to share a photo from another recent shoot with the magazine, so it seems that Miranda is staying busy after announcing the end of her contract with Victoria's Secret.

Miranda is on the East Coast after spending quality time with her family in LA last week, including a trip to a childrens' gym with husband Orlando Bloom and their son, Flynn. While it hasn't been confirmed if Miranda will be attending Monday's Met Gala, her being in the Big Apple to work with Vogue could be a good hint that we'll see her on the red carpet.
