Calendar Girls: 12 Model Geminis

Gemini are notoriously curious, enthusiastic, and eternally youthful, but with that comes the Gemini twins' paradox: those born between May 21 and June 20 also have a tendency to be restless, moody, and quick to react.

Gemini are notoriously curious, enthusiastic, and eternally youthful, but with that comes the Gemini twins' paradox: those born between May 21 and June 20 also have a tendency to be restless, moody, and quick to react. Gemini typically are defined by "opposite" personality traits, which is why it makes a lot of sense that some of our favorite models would fall under this astrological sign. Take, for instance, Naomi Campbell (who just celebrated her birthday), Abbey Lee Kershaw, and Adriana Lima — all wildly successful models who can play the seductive siren for Vogue Italia as easily as they can slip into a couture look for Versace or play the coquettish innocent for a coveted Gucci fragrance campaign. We'll let their work speak for itself. Think you know which other models are quintessentially Gemini? Only one way to find out. Set your sights on some of the most stylish Gemini around, here in the gallery.

Happy Birthday, Naomi Campbell! Her 43 Most Stunning Swimwear Shots

If the knowledge that Naomi Campbell will see her 43rd birthday today inspires feelings of incredulity, that's understandable.

If the knowledge that Naomi Campbell will see her 43rd birthday today inspires feelings of incredulity, that's understandable. The model, who was discovered at the tender age of 15, has been working continuously for almost 27 years — longer than some of her colleagues have been alive. But time, it appears, can't change Campbell's ageless beauty or enduring appeal.

It also apparently can't change her work ethic. Just because she's not spotted on the catwalk as frequently as she once was doesn't mean she's not still active. Her successful modeling reality show, The Face, will soon land in the UK, she's been busy appearing in editorials for Elle, and she's hard at work creating t-shirts for her charity, Fashion For Relief.

In honor of her indelible mark on the industry (and because Summer is quickly approaching), we're looking back at Campbell's best swimwear editorials. A look at 43 of those shots — one for each year she's been on the planet — here.

Supermodels Flock to The Face's Pre-Fashion Week Premiere

Supermodels and celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Brad Goreski, and Tyson Beckford celebrated the premiere of Oxygen's new reality series The Face last night in NYC.

Supermodels and celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Brad Goreski, and Tyson Beckford celebrated the premiere of Oxygen's new reality series The Face last night in NYC. The show features major models, including Naomi, Karolina, and Coco Rocha, guiding two dozen young hopefuls toward reaching their dreams. It was apt timing for the debut of the series, with New York Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow.

Last night, Naomi chose Alaïa, Coco went for a sheer Emilio Pucci gown, and Karolina showed off her curves in a Dimitri fringed dress. The men in attendance also brought their style game. Tyson Beckford, Brad Goreski, designer Zac Posen, and The Face's Nigel Barker all suited up for the occasion. The new show doesn't air on Oxygen until next Tuesday, but in the meantime, the first episode of The Face is available online now.

It's a Supermodel Showdown at The Face Premiere

At last night's The Face premiere in NYC, the red carpet might as well have been a catwalk.

At last night's The Face premiere in NYC, the red carpet might as well have been a catwalk. The show
"mentors," including industry heavyweights like Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Coco Rocha, and Crystal Renn (who could have very well been giving a master class in runway form as they posed for cameras and air-kissed down the arrivals), glammed up to promote their new show — and showcase their own eventwear M.O. Naomi went the elegant, albeit sexy, route in a body-hugging Alaïa gown, while Coco Rocha played the more dramatic angle in a sheer Emilio Pucci gown. As for Karolina, the leggy blonde opted for a flirty, brilliant blue, fringed Dimitri dress — which proved a perfect option for showing off her stems. Step inside to see the rest of the glamorous arrivals face off — including an appearance from Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo — then vote for the evening's best-dressed supermodel.

Model Mayhem: Whose Look Did You Love Best?

The model-spotting of Fashion Week is just kicking off in New York today, but last night four of our favorites were out and about.

The model-spotting of Fashion Week is just kicking off in New York today, but last night four of our favorites were out and about. Celebrating the premiere of their new show, The Face, Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell, and Coco Rocha stepped out sporting three completely different looks. Karolina opted for frosted blue shadow and brushed out waves; Naomi paired her heavy fringe with a sexy smoky eye; and Coco wore a faux '20s-style bob and tomato red lipstick. Over in Australia, Miranda Kerr walked in the David Jones fashion show, but stopped for a few snaps with heavy apricot blush and a mussy topknot. All four ladies had a range of styles, but whose did you like best?

Watch It Right Here: The First Full Episode of The Face

"One photo has the power to make or break your career," Naomi Campbell says during the first episode of The Face, in which a group of 24 hopeful models is whittled down to 12 competitors.

"One photo has the power to make or break your career," Naomi Campbell says during the first episode of The Face, in which a group of 24 hopeful models is whittled down to 12 competitors. "This is the reality of our modeling business."

It's a declaration that's dramatic, but also true. Campbell's message about the cutthroat nature of the business seems to be the thrust of the episode, which was released online a week ahead of its scheduled television debut.

Campbell and her fellow coaches Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha meet the girls during New York Fashion Week at the Spring 2013 show of fellow reality TV star Zac Posen. The coaches then put the two dozen young women through a series of tests, including a one-shot photo shoot and a runway challenge — eliminating girls who don't pass muster along the way.

But it's not all slash and burn. After the challenges, the coaches sit down with host Nigel Barker to assemble teams they think have a chance at winning the grand prize. A look at who makes the cut in the video below.

Leo DiCaprio Hangs With a Bikini-Clad Naomi Campbell on a Yacht

Leonardo DiCaprio and Naomi Campbell hung out on a yacht off the coast of Miami on Monday. Leo was joined by a group of women, including his mom, Irmelin, as he chatted with a bikini-wearing Naomi. Leo's back in vacation mode after traveling to LA to attend the Golden Globes earlier this month, and it looks like his time off might become more permanent. Leo is taking a break from acting now that he's wrapped up filming for The Wolf of Wall Street. He reportedly told the German publication Bild that he is "drained" and added, "I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years, and I'm just worn out. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment."

Leo's not the only star currently enjoying some relaxation in Florida; Jennifer Lopez was also spotted on a yacht there over the weekend. J Lo wore a bikini during her stay in Miami and chatted with her family while soaking up the sun.

Naomi Campbell: I'm "Never Gonna Get Away" From That Phone-Throwing Incident

Despite championing charities the world over, Naomi Campbell says she'll never quite escape her checkered past.

Despite championing charities the world over, Naomi Campbell says she'll never quite escape her checkered past.

In an interview featured in the February issue of Elle, Campbell — referring specifically to the 2007 case in which she pleaded guilty to throwing a phone at her personal assistant — said, "I'm never gonna get away from it. It's part of my history. I was remorseful and regretful. I've served. I did that time. And I never want to be in that position again."

But starring in Oxygen's new reality series The Face, which debuts next month, may help change how she's viewed.

"The first time I saw her cry in an elimination I thought, 'She's in this,'" said Oxygen executive Rod Aissa. "The public will see the Naomi that her friends know. That doesn't come across in a picture, but it does come across on television."

Still, the pictures of Campbell in Elle are worth a look. A selection of them here in the gallery.
