Balmain is known for its rocker-girl appeal, and at last night's dinner hosted by the label's designer, Olivier Rousteing, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Nicole Richie caught our attention (and then some) wearing the brand's subversive pieces. Rosie channeled the '90s in a black and white look comprised of a printed leather check skirt, long-sleeved leather crop top, and sexy laser-cut boots. Meanwhile, Nicole took a slightly softer approach in an intricate summery knit minidress and soft gray suede pumps. Both look hot in their warm-weather party ensembles, but which one gets your best-dressed vote — Rosie or Nicole?

Nicole's stylish night out comes hot on the heels of the launch of her new reality series, Candidly Nicole, on AOL On. The new web show describes itself as being based on Nicole's Twitter feed and follows her as she goes on various short adventures, and has already earned rave reviews. One trip that might not end up on the show is the 2013 Met Gala, which takes place on Monday. The lob is the hottest new hair trend for Spring, but now it seems Alice Eve and Nicole Richie are already giving the look an update. Both ladies were spotted recently with full-on fringe to accompany their long bob haircuts. Alice pulled out her brow-grazing bangs to promote Star Trek Into Darkness in Berlin, where she paired the look with a bright red lipstick. Last night at the AOL 2013 Digital Content NewFront, Nicole debuted thick blunt bangs that sweep deep down to her lashes. A long bob plus a long bang equals a stylish match for Spring.
Nicole Richie and Sarah Jessica Parker launched their new digital series with AOL in NYC yesterday. Nicole was at the event to talk about her new show, Candidly Nicole, which is based on her Twitter feed. The first episode of Candidly Nicole has already been released through AOL On and revolves around Nicole trying to get her "tramp stamp" tattoo removed. She said during the video, "[The tattoo] just means a certain thing and I don't want to be a part of that group." Meanwhile, SJP will be going behind the camera for her new upcoming show, City.Ballet, which follows the drama behind the scenes at the New York City Ballet, and will premiere in September. The two stars were joined at the event by Tracy Anderson, who is also making her own show with Gwyneth Paltrow, titled Second Chances. The digital series will follow Tracy and Gwyneth as they interview women who have overcome various hardships.

Nicole Richie dropped by Chelsea Lately last night to talk about Fashion Star and her bikini-filled vacation with Jessica Alba earlier this month. She noted that the stars' trip was part of a 10-year anniversary celebration for their friends and that "everyone left their kids at home." Nicole also revealed that she doesn't want to only talk about her children. She said, "I try to not be that mom; I know what is really cute, and what only I think is cute."
