Tom Cruise had wife Katie Holmes by his side last night for the afterparty following his Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol premiere in NYC. We caught a minute with Tom on the red carpet — stay tuned for that later today on PopSugar Rush! — and he spoke about what he loves to do most with his youngest child, Suri. He told us, "Really, everything with her is amazing. She's so much fun to be with. So funny and sweet. Lovely." Additionally, Tom spoke of his love for Katie Holmes. He said, "Every day I fall more in love with her. It's been quite an amazing five years because of her. She's an incredible woman. She's everything to me."
Along with his costars Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner, Tom celebrated the over-the-top screening at The Museum of Modern Art. Tom and Katie also welcomed their pal Queen Latifah to the bash. Queen Latifah starred with Katie in 2008's Mad Money and also shared the screen with Paula in 2010's Just Wright! Paula cuddled up to husband Robin Thicke, who brought his dad, Alan, to the premiere. Simon, meanwhile, said hello to his former Paul buddies Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader. Once the fun wrapped up at The MOMA, Tom and Katie headed out for dinner at The Meatball Shop in the West Village.
The BET Awards celebrated the largest names in hip-hop and R&B with wild fashion, high-energy dance routines, and a mini scandal at LA's Shrine Auditorium last night. The show kicked off with a mashup of hits from Mary J. Blige before the awards were dished out to the night's winners. Taking a break from touring with Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj joined Justin Bieber to present the best male hip-hop artist award to Kanye West. Nicki didn't go home empty handed as she took home the honors for best female hip-hop artist. Justin was without his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, but he was in the company of pals Jaden and Willow Smith, who stepped out with their parents, Will and Jada, and the siblings shared the win in the young stars category.
The night was full of incredible performances including a medley of hits and the debut of a new single, "Typewriter," from Alicia Keys, who was also marking the 10-year anniversary of her mega hit album Songs in A Minor. Most of the evening went down without a hitch, but there was a critical mix-up in BET's viewer's choice category when Chris Brown was announced the winner, then it was switched to Rihanna and Drake. Turns out Chris was the actual winner, and the error was due to teleprompter confusion, though Drake admittedly felt "awkward" about the error. Chris finished out the evening with four awards while Jennifer Hudson grabbed the win for best female R&B artist and Patti LaBelle was recognized with a lifetime achievement award — get the full list of BET winners here!
Cover Girl rounded up its beautiful spokesmodels last night for a bash after the People's Choice Awards in LA. Queen Latifah, fresh off hosting the show, attended the event with a brightly dressed Drew Barrymore, Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres, and Niki Taylor. Ellen and Taylor seemed to be in especially great moods as they laughed their way past the photographers with Portia de Rossi. Taylor had lots to celebrate despite recently splitting from Jake Gyllenhaal — she ranked among the best dressed of the night and took home the favorite country artist honor. Alicia Keys bared her pregnant belly in a tiny bikini off the coast of France today. She was joined by her new husband, Swizz Beatz, after the two tied the knot in Corsica last weekend. Since then Swizz has been spotted living it up during a champagne-filled night out with friends. Alicia didn't look like she minds Swizz letting loose a little bit, especially since they have friends along for their honeymoon. Alicia and Swizz were joined on the yacht by their wedding guests Queen Latifah and Jeanette Jenkins.
The welcome vacation-crashers were also decked out in their swimsuits for the afternoon. Queen Latifah and Jeanette's relationship has been the subject of many rumors, and the ladies looked happy to spend some time together on the Mediterranean getaway. Alicia and Swizz's big day may not have been the one you would have most wanted to attend of all the celebrity nuptials this week, though there's no denying that this looks like quite the luxurious place to hang out post "I Dos."

Kanye West had the honor of opening last night's BET Awards in LA with a performance of his new song "Power." Joining Kanye were some of music's most famous faces, including a fresh-from-NYC Alicia Keys. Alicia was one of the evening's big winners with two statues for Best Female R&B Artist and Best Collaboration with "Empire State of Mind." Alicia took the stage to sing, but she covered her growing baby bump with a little purple dress. The show's most interesting performance may well have come from Chris Brown, who broke down in tears during an emotional Michael Jackson tribute.
Drake's first official album came out only two weeks ago, but that didn't get in the way of him winning Best Male Hip-Hop Artist of the Year. Eminem took the next step in his exciting comeback by having his album debut at the top spot, and he was at the ceremony to perform "Not Afraid." Usher and T.I. also serenaded the crowd but denied our shirtless wishes by keeping their tops on. Lady Gaga and Beyonce, meanwhile, weren't on hand to take home their Video of the Year honor for their nearly 10-minute long "Telephone" — check the full list of winners!
