Blackberry hosted a fun fete last night in celebration of its latest new gadget, which was attended by a stylish set of celebrities. Showing off their respective takes on casual party style, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made an appearance in a silky crossover blouse, skinny black pants, and nude sandals, while Hart of Dixie star Rachel Bilson opted for a fancier look in a Christian Dior black strapless featuring a light-pink organza inset. Christina Ricci opted for bright prints in a formfitting dress and black pumps, while Chloë Moretz opted for a more subversive look in leather pants and a cutout top. Rachel Bilson's Stylist Talks Spring: Fresh Color Duos, Essentials, and More
If you haven't heard of Nicole Chavez before, you definitely know her list of famous clients: Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell, Jessica Simpson, Nikki Reed, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. And she "just started working with Reese Witherspoon a little bit." Last night at the LOFT Summer collection preview in LA, we got a chance to catch up with the superstar stylist — clad in this fabulous floral henley blouse ($60). Aside from inspiring this affordable Spring purchase, Nicole doled out her expert seasonal styling tips, the answer to what every girl needs in her closet this season, and what she would wear with a few of our favorite pieces (like a floral miniskirt and white pumps).

POPSUGAR: What are some essential pieces that every girl needs in her closet for Spring?
Nicole Chavez: For Spring, I'm all about the bold palette. I just think that bright, punchy colors are the way to go this Spring. You can do it head-to-toe brights or you can mix it up and do something like what I'm wearing, which is just a punch of color and something neutral. Another one of my favorite trends for Spring was that black and white, really graphic — we saw polka dots, we saw stripes, we saw the checks. That's a really easy trend that you can incorporate day to night.
PS: Any Spring color combinations that you really love?
NC: I'm a really big fan of hot pink and nude. There's another combination that was a LOFT combo that I really loved, which is their really punchy yellow blazer paired with black and white stripes. People would normally think bumblebee, but they have this really great neon yellow.

Behind-the-Scenes Beauty: Rachel Bilson's Hart of Dixie Smoky Eye

On Hart of Dixie, Rachel Bilson plays a small-town doctor with big-city style. So to play up the dichotomy of her character, makeup artist Joni Powell creates a bronze smoky eye that can work for every day, but still has an uptown punch.
To get Rachel's signature smoky eye from the show, Powell applies the shimmery coppery shadow from the Cargo Bronze Essential Eye Palette in Bronze ($34) over the entire eye using sweeping strokes from the inner corner outward. Then, she takes the pale highlighting shade and places it underneath the arch of Rachel's brows. With an angled brush, she next sweeps the dark, espresso-colored hue onto the top and bottom lash lines. Powell then creates a triangle shape by extending the line to the outer corners, blending it to diffuse. Rachel's look is completed with a pale pink lip gloss to complement the earthy eye makeup.

Lauren Conrad Gets Serious About Her Man — and ShoeMint's Anniversary
Lauren Conrad and Rachel Bilson helped celebrate ShoeMint's one-year anniversary at Laurel Hardware in LA on Saturday. The footwear line is designed by Rachel and her partner, stylist Nicole Chavez, and they were both on hand to toast their milestone with Lauren, Jaime King, and Cacee Cobb. Rachel and Nicole were thrilled to have their pals on hand, with ShoeMint tweeting postparty, "Thank you so much to everyone who celebrated our 1 year birthday! Amazing to have so many smart and talented women together in one place."
Lauren's no stranger to design, being the brains behind her own Paper Crown collection. She's been busy touting her pieces, as well as two books, Lauren Conrad Beauty and Starstruck. Lauren's had boyfriend William Tell by her side during the very busy year and, in a recent interview, hinted about their future together. Lauren alluded to marriage in one chat, saying, "I kind of hope I’m done with dating . . . At the moment, I don’t think I’m ready for [marriage]. I have a lot of professional things that I’m focusing on."
Hart of Dixie's Costume Designer Talks Season 2 Style!
With fashionable shows like Hart of Dixie and Gossip Girl on her résumé, it's easy to see why costume designer Meredith Markworth Pollack is one of the most sought-after stylists in Hollywood. We got to know Meredith and her thriving career earlier this year and recently had the chance to chat with her about Hart of Dixie's season two style. We may pride ourselves on finding the exact pieces on both Gossip Girl and Hart of Dixie here at CS, but we wanted to know the inspiration behind each chic ensemble. Find out what Meredith told us about the leading ladies' evolving style, must-have pieces to nail Zoe's look, and changes from last season's style.

CelebStyle: How has Zoe Hart's style changed since she has become a Blue Bell native?
Meredith Markworth Pollack: We're softening up Zoe's style just ever so slightly, adding some more color and relaxed silhouettes. Zoe is still ordering her clothes online and having them shipped in to Blue Bell, so no pastel frocks any time soon, but I think the quirkiness and colorful vibe of the town is definitely starting to have an influence on her.
CS: Should we expect to see a change in Lemon's prim and proper style now that she is a single, self-relying woman?
MMP: Lemon's look has progressed into a more contemporary direction and less vintage. She's becoming more of a woman of the 21st century now that she is single and thinking about her career and future. Expect to see more professional looks from her, but by no means is she giving up her florals and pastels.
Learn how to nail Zoe's city-chic style and more after the jump.
