Salma Hayek's Peplum Dress Has "Night Out" Written All Over It

Salma Hayek totally fit the part of fine-art patron, wearing a chic Bottega Veneta peplum dress to an event at Christie's in NYC.

Salma Hayek totally fit the part of fine-art patron, wearing a chic Bottega Veneta peplum dress to an event at Christie's in NYC. Her dress caught our eye first, but the power of great accessories really helped bring Salma's look to life. How did she do it? The actress jazzed up her neckline with a jeweled bib necklace, then added a metallic-purple woven Bottega Veneta clutch and metallic-gray peep-toe pumps for further shine. With Spring weather allowing for more skin-revealing styles come evening, we think this is the perfect example of night-out polish without too much effort. Start with an equally sleek peplum dress — here's one we love by Winter Kate ($155) — and just pile on the right accessories. Easy enough, right? Shop our editors' picks below.

Leo's Star-Studded Auction Makes Millions For the Environment

Leonardo DiCaprio teamed up with Christie's to cohost the 11th Hour Auction in NYC last night.

Leonardo DiCaprio teamed up with Christie's to cohost the 11th Hour Auction in NYC last night. It was a successful event for Leo since the auction reportedly raised $35 million to benefit environmental and wildlife conservation efforts, almost doubling the goal of $18 million. He had the support of his longtime friend and Great Gatsby costar Tobey Maguire, who put in a winning bid on one of 33 pieces of contemporary art. Leo contributed something from his own art collection, a print called "Ocean V" by well-known photographer Andreas Gursky. Also out for the evening were Bradley Cooper, Mark Ruffalo, and Salma Hayek.

It was Leonardo's second art-inspired outing in as many days, since he also made an appearance at the Brant Foundation Art Study Center's Andy Warhol showing in Greenwich, CT, on Sunday. He'll be switching gears from art to film in the coming days, though, when he debuts The Great Gatsby in Cannes later this week.

Chloë, Salma, and Julianne Take to the Cancun Film Fest in Style

The common denominator in the first batch of looks from the Cancun Film Festival?

The common denominator in the first batch of looks from the Cancun Film Festival? Easy, breezy, Summer-inclined dressing — courtesy of Salma Hayek, Julianne Moore, and Chloë Moretz. The actresses stepped out to promote their respective films, giving us three takes on cocktail wear. Salma arrived at the Grown Ups 2 press junket in a terracotta-hued, ladylike Gucci number that she dressed up with turquoise earrings by Bavna and a pair of studded platform heels. Meanwhile, at the Carrie photocall, costars Julianne and Chloë posed in two different plays on daytime chic. Julianne took the LWD route in a lace-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana dress but added a little edge via contrasting black strappy Tabitha Simmons heels. Chloë opted for a sweet (and age-appropriate) printed fit-and-flare sundress by Marni, which she finished off with a pair of nude T-strap Christian Louboutin pumps. That's the rundown on who wore what, and now comes the hard part — who gets your vote for best dressed?

Salma Hayek and Taylor Lautner Jet to Cancun With Their Grown Ups 2 Crew

Salma Hayek and Taylor Lautner teamed up for a photocall in Cancun yesterday as part of promotions for their upcoming movie Grown Ups 2.

Salma Hayek and Taylor Lautner teamed up for a photocall in Cancun yesterday as part of promotions for their upcoming movie Grown Ups 2. The duo was also joined by fellow castmates Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and David Spade, all of whom attended CinemaCon with Salma and Taylor on Wednesday in Las Vegas. Missing from both promotional stops were the group's other costars Maya Rudolph and Chris Rock. The Grown Ups 2 cast did get together as a whole, though, for an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which aired on Wednesday as well. During the show Maya finally confirmed she was pregnant with her fourth child, and the cast joked that she will be naming her newborn Grown Ups 3.

Apart from the funny times Salma is partaking in during her promotional duties, she has a more serious project well in the works. Salma cofounded the Chime For Change women's organization with Beyoncé Knowles and Gucci creative director Frida Giannini. Salma was on hand last month to announce that Beyoncé will be one of several artists to perform at the organization's global charity concert on June 1 in London.

Grown Ups 2 Trailer: Taylor Lautner Makes Adam Sandler Streak

In Grown Ups, Adam Sandler and a group of his real-life friends (including David Spade, Chris Rock, and Kevin James), play a bunch of high school buds who reunite for a weekend, so you can probably guess what happens in the sequel — they're reuniting again!

In Grown Ups, Adam Sandler and a group of his real-life friends (including David Spade, Chris Rock, and Kevin James), play a bunch of high school buds who reunite for a weekend, so you can probably guess what happens in the sequel — they're reuniting again! This time they've all gathered in their hometown, where apparently it's easy for a moose to just waltz into your bedroom and pee on you. Other things that happen in town? Frat guys (led by Taylor Lautner) can make you cliff dive naked.

The original Grown Ups wasn't exactly comedy genius, so suffice it to say this sequel feels pretty unnecessary. That said, I fully support Lautner trying his hand at comedy, and it's hard not to giggle when half the cast of SNL shows up dressed as male cheerleaders led by Andy Samberg. The film hits theaters July 12, and you can watch the trailer when you read more
