If Tiffani Thiessen wasn't an actress, she says she'd most likely be an event planner. The White Collar star stopped by our LA studios recently to talk about indulging her passion for entertaining with the Glad One Bag campaign, which encourages party hosts to limit their postbash trash to a single bag. Tiffani threw a party to celebrate the partnership and gave us her top entertaining tips — including her hosting musts and her favorite songs to put on a soiree's soundtrack. She also talked about motherhood and the lives she imagines her past TV characters Kelly Kapowski and Valerie Malone would be living today, and she gave us a hint at what's ahead on White Collar next season.
Today is Tiffani Thiessen's 39th birthday, which we happen to think is a little ridiculous. The actress formerly known as Kelly Kapowski has been influencing our personal style since her days on Saved by the Bell, where her skintight biker shorts, slouchy crop tops, and colorful Keds (always Keds!) reigned supreme. Tiffani's high-octane high school cheerleader looks have certainly come back to the forefront of fashion — over the Summer, we saw more denim cutoffs and neon bra tops than we care to remember — and are providing sartorial inspiration to an entirely new generation. For those of you who remember Kelly Kapowski in all her prom-queen-winning, volleyball-playing, George Michael-loving glory, we're celebrating in true Bayside High fashion. Click through to look back on Tiffani's most awesome SBTB looks.
Although she currently stars on White Collar (with babe Matt Bomer), birthday girl Tiffani Thiessen — who turns 39 today — first won our hearts as high school bombshell Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell. Just about every guy at Bayside High, and every teen boy watching, was smitten with Kelly. Throughout the series, we saw her swoon and flip her hair over Zack Morris, AC Slater, Jeff from The Max, and her college professor. But lucky Zack got the girl in the end!
The '90s had a major comeback in 2012, so we're combining that wave of nostalgia with another popular trend — animated GIFs — for a fun guide to love inspired by the queen of Bayside. You, too, can snag your own Zack by channeling Kelly in your dating life. Just ask yourself: what would Kelly Kapowski do?

And the countdown begins! We're just 10 days away from the highly anticipated launch of the Diane von Furstenberg for Baby Gap and Gap Kids collection, and the anticipation is growing. The capsule collection — much like the one Stella McCartney created for the retail giant a few years ago — is piquing the interest of moms and kids alike. Over the weekend, the designer— who shared her thoughts on being a grandmother with us last year — debuted pieces from the line at a celebrity mom and tot-attended event. Alyson Hannigan, Tiffani Thiessen, Jessica Capshaw, Milla Jovovich, and an expectant Molly Sims joined Diane von Furstenberg for a sneak peek at the baby wrap dresses, printed onesies, and mini sunglasses, all featuring iconic DVF patterns. Check out photos from the event now and stay tuned for images from the complete collection later this week!
Lindsay Price was the center of attention at her LA baby shower yesterday where her mother, Dianne, and friends including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tiffani Thiessen, Rebecca Romijn, Sara Rue, and Jaime Ray Newman celebrated the new mom-to-be. SMG and Lindsay go way back to their early days on the daytime soap All My Children, though Lindsay is taking a break from TV while Sarah can be seen on her new primetime drama, Ringer. Lindsay also worked on the small screen with Tiffani when the pair teamed up with Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, and Luke Perry on the original 90210. In real life, Lindsay's found her leading man in professional chef Curtis Stone, who didn't join in the baby shower festivities, which were decorated in gender-neutral colors. Curtis says he's "very excited to be a dad" and revealed that Lindsay is doing "really good" with her pregnancy. Lindsay has a few more weeks to go until the birth of her first child, but soon thereafter she and Curtis will likely be scheduling playdates with their famous friends.
It was an action-packed afternoon on the set of White Collar in NYC today. True Blood's Joe Manganiello left his werewolf alter ego back in Bon Temps, LA, and yielded a gun for an intense looking shoot-out alongside series regular Tim Dekay. It's been an exciting few week for Joe with True Blood premiering its fourth season on Sunday and Joe's shirtless GQ spread. You can catch more of Joe this Summer on his HBO drama, but you'll have to wait until January to watch his White Collar episode. Matt Bomer managed to keep himself out of harms way while bullets were flying, though he did slip into a perfectly tailored suit for his own batch of scenes. Tiffani Thiessen had a special visitor on the set as well, taking a break with daughter Harper Smith who just turned 1 on June 15.
Tiffani Thiessen and her daughter, Harper Smith, coordinated in shades of blue and white to join Jessica Seinfeld and other celebrity parents at the annual Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash in Central Park yesterday. Tiffani and her family are back on the East Coast spending their Summer in the Big Apple while she shoots new White Collar episodes, and this season we'll see a special cameo from her husband, Brady Smith, who posed as a very handsome naval officer on the set. White Collar returns next week on June 7, and it's turning into a big month for Tiffani, with Harper also approaching her first birthday on June 15. Tiffani's former Saved by the Bell costar Mark-Paul Gosselaar is back in the TV game as well with his new cable series, Franklin & Bash, premiering last night.
