Our position on the red carpet at last night's Met Gala afforded the chance to observe what really takes place on the storied red carpet! It was model, designer, and actor madness as guests headed in to celebrate the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute exhibit Punk: Chaos to Couture.

Veteran attendees Gisele Bündchen and her husband, Tom Brady, shared a run-in with first-timer Kim Kardashian on the carpet, while a Valentino-clad Gwyneth Paltrow caught up with her good friend Jessica Seinfeld. Kristen Stewart wasn't bothered by the stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Jessica Biel mingling outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, though her pal Jennifer Lawrence did do a bit of socializing with her fellow Dior spokesperson Marion Cotillard.

Gisele Bündchen arrived in sky high heels on the arm of her husband, Tom Brady, to the Costume Institute Benefit in NYC on Monday night, but by the end of the evening it was Tom's job to carry her stilettos home. Gisele's black Anthony Vaccarello dress showed off some skin, and she threw up some hand signs to embrace the night's theme on the red carpet. Tom, on the other hand, went with a bright blue number fresh off his big Kentucky Derby win.

Gisele chose a daring look from designer Anthony Vaccarello for the event, which celebrated the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Throughout the night, Tom and Gisele stuck together — often with his hand planted right on her behind. Gisele and Tom are no strangers to the fashionable red carpet, having attended multiples times through the years, including while Gisele was pregnant with Vivian last year. Vivian may be a little young to participate in the ball, but she did get to celebrate at a party in the park with her older brother Benjamin on Saturday. On Saturday, Gisele, Ben, and Vivian met up with Tom and Jack for dinner at Blue Ribbon.

The couple shared a sweet dinner date following a family-filled Saturday, when Tom and Gisele took Jack, Ben, and Vivian out for lunch at Extra Virgin restaurant. The Bündchen-Brady bunch are all together on the East Coast now that Gisele and Vivian have returned from their travels. The mother-daughter duo made a stop in São Paulo earlier this month and have been hanging out in the Big Apple ever since. Tom Brady and his sons Jack and Benjamin popped up in NYC to join Gisele Bündchen and little sister Vivian over the weekend. On Saturday, the five-some ventured out together. The mother-daughter duo were reunited with their boys for even more fun, including a lunch stop at the Extra Virgin restaurant. There will likely be many Big Apple outings in the family's future — Tom and Gisele are apparently in the market for a new Manhattan place. Before the boys arrived, Vivian kept her mom company in NYC and beyond. Gisele and Vivian braved the rain for a Friday outing in the Big Apple, and earlier this month, the girls made a stop in Sao Paulo.

It was back to the beach in Costa Rica for Gisele Bündchen and her family on Friday. She hit the sand with her husband, Tom Brady, their daughter, Vivian, and their dogs last weekend, though this time they were joined by Jack and Benjamin as well. Gisele wore another string bikini for the sunny day while Tom went shirtless to soak up the rays. The group played in the sand, splashed in the water, and even took Vivian for a dip in the ocean. Tom brought his surfboard along as well, and when he was done catching waves, he let Jack hop on in shallow water. Once Tom and Gisele wrapped up their water activities, they relaxed in the shade and showed PDA while keeping Vivian close.

The Bündchen-Brady getaway comes during a break from their usually busy schedules. Tom is currently in the off season with the Patriots while Gisele is enjoying downtime from her modeling duties. She has still been active with causes she believes in, though, and spread the word about International Forest Day and World Water Day on Twitter last week.

On Sunday, the couple hit the beach with their 3-month-old daughter, who was bundled up in a carrier on her mom's chest. Vivian even went for a ride across the sand on an ATV. Gisele was sporting a tiny bikini during the outing while Tom went shirtless. The duo shared PDA as they showed off their little girl to a group of friends on the beach. Vivian is no stranger to tropical trips, after already visiting Hawaii with her parents and older brother Benjamin in February. It was a busy month for Tom and Gisele since they also attended Oscars festivities and hosted a post-Oscar bash for Mario Testino’s Prism Gallery show.
