Victoria Beckham's brand has grown by leaps and bounds since she started showing collections in 2008. And if she has anything to say about it, that growth isn't going to stop.
"I want to get bigger and bigger," she said in a new interview with T Magazine. "I absolutely want an empire."
Beckham currently surveys a kingdom that includes clothing, handbags, eyewear, and denim — and that's before you even take into account her husband David Beckham's underwear with H&M and the various fragrances they've created together over the years. Still, there's room for expansion. "At some point I would love to do shoes, I would love to do fragrance, I would love to do makeup, I would like to do underwear," she said. "There are so many things I want to do."
The designer says she and her husband don't look at all they've created as a huge brand. "It is, but it happened very, very naturally. It seems that now everybody wants to make a brand; everybody wants to build a brand. Ours happened very organically. The most important thing is each other and the children."
