Becca discovered her passion for the entertainment industry - specifically the intersection between pop culture, politics and social awareness – as a bright-eyed college intern in MTV's London office. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she went on a professional journey that lead her from advertising to sustainability until she finally found her career sweet spot as a pop culture writer and on-camera reporter. While working for MTV Act and Rock The Vote, she covered the Democratic National Convention and interviewed artists at Lollapalooza. Besides anchoring POPSUGAR Live from San Francisco since its debut in February 2012, Becca was also part of POPSUGAR's live debate shows as well as our nearly 7-hour live election night show for the 2012 Presidential race. In addition, she co-hosted the live Grammys and SAG Awards coverage along with some very intense live Bachelor Finale viewing parties. Last but certainly not least, she co-hosts Top That!, a weekly web culture countdown with YouTube sensation Tyler Oakley. Becca believes in unicorns and enjoys wearing head-to-toe purple.
