It's a 10 Super Bowl Commercial Teases Trump: "We're in For at Least 4 Years of Awful Hair"

Controversial commercials were few and far between during the 2017 Super Bowl, but we're pleased to see that it was a beauty brand to make a statement about our current political climate.

"We're in for at least four years of awful hair, so it's up to you to make up for it with great hair," said the narrator of It's a 10's 30-second commercial. This was undoubtedly a saucy nod to President Donald Trump.

A wide range of hairstyles (hi-top fade, natural curls, an undercut, and more) were represented throughout the empowering black-and-white ad. It was designed to show how beautiful — and important — diversity is in the United States.

"Now is the time for us to come together. This ad captures the true diversity within American culture — we are all perfectly imperfect in our own way," shared Carolyn Aronson, founder and CEO of It's a 10 Haircare in a press release.
