100 Years of French Beauty Is Even Prettier to Watch Than It Sounds

While American women were rocking voluminious teased hair in the 1980s, French women were playing it much cooler. Popular video series The Cut just released its latest "100 Years of Beauty" video featuring all we know and love of French-girl beauty.

As we travel from 1920 to 2010, we noticed a few themes: gorgeous skin, a less-is-more approach to makeup, textured hair, and, of course, classic red lips. Sigh. As the Victoria's Secret Show in Paris approaches, we definitely have Parisian beauty on our minds. Watch the video, and then let us know which decade is your favorite!
