Would You Try Kim and Kanye's Latest Matchy-Matchy Beauty Trend?

Though Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been quite busy making appearances at Fashion Week with baby North, they found the time to attend Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special. Not only did Kanye debut a new song with Sia and Vic Mensa, but he also unveiled a new look.

Those watching his face closely as he performed noticed that his eyes looked a little unusual, but it wasn't until he was spotted in the audience later that we realized the look wasn't a trick of the light. He and wife Kim visited Dr. Mitch Cassel at Studio Optix in New York City's Rockefeller Center yesterday to get custom-colored blue contact lenses. Kim showed off the couple's new look on her Instagram. Sure, it's a little intense for every day, but would you expect anything less from Kanye and Kim? (We have to admit that we were surprised by how natural — and pretty — the lenses look against their dark eyes.)

Though you can find colored lenses through beauty supply stores and other distributors, contacts purchased elsewhere aren't guaranteed to be safe for eyes and could even leave you blind.
