Lily Collins Looks Like a Sexy Vampire at the 2017 Critics' Choice Awards

We already called that red eye shadow would be the fiercest holiday makeup trend this season, and at the 2017 Critics' Choice Awards, Lily Collins proved it to be true. The actress complemented her Victorian-inspired Elie Saab Haute Couture gown with monochromatic ruby makeup.

Lily's eyes were dolled up with red shadow, smoked and smudged out in a wing shape. Her pale skin looked matte except for a light dusting of brick across her cheekbones. And her lips were painted with a dramatic ombré deep red lip that matched her eye makeup. The rich, warm shade looked gorgeous against her famous lush eyebrows.

Because Lily's makeup was such a statement, her unfussy hair juxtaposed it. She wore her brunette strands in a casual chignon, with pieces effortlessly falling around her face. The style was created by Gregory Russell for Matrix Style Link. "I was inspired by Lily's Elie Saab gown to create a romantic, prairie goth, '70s-inspired look with a modern texture," Russell said via email.
