Tom Ford's Quintessential Woman: "She's Kind of a Party Girl"

According to Mary Greenwell, lead makeup artist at Tom Ford's Fall 2015 runway show in Los Angeles, the Tom Ford woman is quite the woman about town. "She really loves life, she's kind of a bit of a party girl. She's been up all night, she's had a great time," said Greenwell.

Models like Gigi and Bella Hadid and Karlie Kloss's eyes were adorned in dreamy shades of brown, creating a sleepy look. The trick to creating that lived-in, creamy finish? Lipstick, which was applied to the lid and buffed outward.

"She's lived in this makeup all day. She put it on in the morning and wore it through the night," she added of the Tom Ford woman. "It is all about being sexy (with the brown), but is less intense than a black."

The hair, led by stylist Sam McKnight, requires lots of teased texture and mounds of hair — with extensions, that is — which was braided down the back and twisted into a side chignon.

Take a look at some of our behind-the-scenes photos from the show.
