Yes, Jenna Marbles Really Did Shave Off Her Eyebrows on Camera

At what appears to be the height of the full and thick eyebrow craze, YouTube mainstay Jenna Marbles did what would be unimaginable for many: she completely shaved them off.

In a video shared on Oct. 13, Jenna spoke about having this desire to shave off her eyebrows for quite some time. She had even said as much in a tweet, shown below, posted a few days before she actually did the deed. Originally, however, Jenna just wanted to shave off the ends so that she could create the specific tail shape she wanted.

After experimenting with the tail ends, Jenna just decided to shave them off entirely. She explained, "I'm having so much fun with just the other half, I really want to see what happens if I just shave the whole thing." Though many of her fans expressed their concern, she added, "They grow back really fast — and they're also mine, not yours."

Watching her shave them — which commences at 2:13 — is, in a word, tense. In the end though, Jenna loves it! She laughs and pokes fun at herself while also saying it feels "really nice." Adding, "Now I have so much eyebrow freedom to make whatever I want."
