Hailey Baldwin's Mod Beauty Look at NYFW Will Inspire Your Halloween Costume

Hailey Baldwin just swapped out her popular blond lob for a brunette "bowl bob." At Jeremy Scott's Spring 2017 show at New York Fashion Week, Wella hairstylist Eugene Souleiman created matching wigs for her and her fellow flaxen-haired models (Martha Hunt, Elsa Hosk, and Stella Maxwell, to name a few). This made it hard to single any one of them out in the sea of brunette bobs backstage. That said, we're particularly impressed by how Hailey can rock this — or any — style and shade, yet still look stunning.

Unlike the bowl cut you (or your brother!) wore in the third grade, Souleiman kept one end of the wig shoulder-length, letting the other side graze her chin for a face-hugging effect. So, if you're thinking of re-creating the modernized take on the retro bob for yourself — Halloween, maybe? — be sure to let your hairstylist know that it's the asymmetrical sides that give the look an edgy, updated feel.

Should you end up rocking this look on All Hallows' Eve, feel free to give Hailey's makeup a try, too. Simply line your eyes with a violet-toned eyeliner pencil and smudge it out. Then dust on a purple shadow up to your crease — check out MAC Cosmetics eye shadow in Beautiful Iris ($16) — and top it off with a few coats of mascara for the perfect "disco meets the new millennium" look. See the style for yourself when you read on.
