Tiaras Are All Over the Met Gala Red Carpet

Tiaras are the hair accessory of choice at Monday night's Met Gala. With "Gilded Glamour" as this year's theme, it's no surprise celebrities and guests chose decorative crowns and hair accessories to complete their ensembles. As an extension of last year's theme honoring American contributions to fashion, the 2022 Met Gala is expected to bring more fashions that demonstrate the wealth and glamour of the late 19th century.

Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour and Editor at Large Hamish Bowles kicked off the red carpet in tiaras, setting the stage for many to come. Cochair Blake Lively embraced gilded glamour in all forms, wearing an ensemble inspired by the Statue of Liberty, including a crown with seven spikes. Meanwhile, looking almost unrecognizable, Emma Chamberlain topped off her platinum-blond bob with a sparkly silver iteration. Ahead, get a closer look at all the style stars who incorporated tiaras into their looks at the 2022 Met Gala.
