The Critics' Choice Awards Tried So Hard to Have an Oscars Selfie Moment

The Critics' Choice Awards swept its way through LA on Thursday night, giving us another reason to celebrate last year's most monumental films. As host Michael Strahan kicked off his hosting duties for the night, he made his way into the audience to snap a selfie with Reese Witherspoon. Seeing as the official Critics' Choice handle tweeted the photo, we can't help but wonder if they're vying for the next viral selfie, like Ellen's infamous snap from the Oscars. We have to say, while plenty of stars showed up for the festivities, there wasn't quite enough star power in the snap to pull off something of the same caliber.
