Say it with me now: acne is not reserved just for your teens. In fact, plenty of people deal with adult acne long after they've hit puberty — and graduated from college. So while being in your 20s can be a very lovely time for your skin — minimal lines and creases, general clarity of the skin — it can also be a trying time. Acne from your teens can leave remnants in the form of scars, hormones can make acne and hyperpigmentation run wild, blackheads don't discriminate against any age group, and if you don't protect your skin with SPF, wrinkles and dark spots can leave their mark, too. Ultimately, all of these can end up prematurely aging you, and while we're not opposed to aging, we'd rather do it gracefully. (Right?)

What's important is having a good routine that combats your most pressing skin care issues — emphasis on routine. It's more than just a quick fix! The key is making sure you're continuing to combat the issues on a regular basis and not just during a flare-up. For instance, use an exfoliating pore refiner if your skin looks dull. It will help eat away dead skin and give your complexion a nice glow, too!
