Waka Flocka Flame Stars in the Weirdest Ad For Throat Drops You'll Ever See

Waka Flocka Flame managed to upstage the American Music Awards on Sunday night when his new commercial for Pine Bros. throat lozenges aired during the award show. The spot features the pot-loving rapper surrounded in a cloud of smoke and extolling the virtues of the throat drops to aid against minor throat discomfort. Of course, the clincher is at the end of the 30-second ad, when the rapper shoots a knowing glance to the source of the smoke and says, "So the next time you need sore throat relief — for whatever reason — take your Pine Bros." The ad quickly went viral, in part due to the sheer randomness of Waka starring in a throat drops ad and the wink-wink allusions to smoking pot. In short, it looked more like a parody commercial from Saturday Night Live than a real ad. But then again, it did get everyone talking, so maybe Waka did his part.
