In our Q&A series POPSUGAR Crush, we get to know some of our favorite celebs' more intimate details — from their first celebrity crush to the best love advice they've ever received. This month, we're crushing on Ghostbusters: Afterlife star Celeste O'Connor.

Celeste O'Connor is going places. The 22-year-old was recently added to the cast of Zach Braff's forthcoming project, but before we see them in A Good Person, Celeste will be gracing the big screen in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. "My character in Ghostbusters is named Lucky, and she is from the small town of Somerville," Celeste told POPSUGAR. "She's lived there all her life, but she is wanting more. She's wanting adventure, excitement, and she wants to get out of her hometown." The film also stars Finn Wolfhard as Trevor, who is one of Lucky's friends. "When Lucky meets Trevor, she definitely finds that adventure she's been looking for, which I love for her."

Growing up, Celeste used to watch the original Ghostbusters films with their dad, so getting to work on the latest movie was truly a full-circle moment. "I remember being really scared of them, but when I got this part, I watched the films again and they were hilarious. I was like, 'This isn't scary. This is a funny movie, right?'" But what made the experience even more special was the bond they formed with the cast. "It felt like a little family on set. I think that's what I enjoyed the most — how close we all are and how good of friends we all are. Me and Finn became really good friends . . . and it was also just really nice working with the younger kids, too, because they definitely encouraged my imagination and we were always playing around and having fun on set."

In addition to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Celeste is also excited to work alongside Florence Pugh, Morgan Freeman, Molly Shannon, and Zoe Lister-Jones in A Good Person and to continue growing their Pedestal production company. Celeste's ultimate goal with their production company is to "tell Black and brown stories in a really vibrant, colorful way."

Check out the rest of Celeste's POPSUGAR Crush interview ahead, and make sure to check out Ghostbusters: Afterlife in theaters on Nov. 19.

Based on your Instagram, it looks like you enjoy traveling. What is the best trip you've been on?

I love traveling. I went to Italy recently, and that was amazing. I went with a group of my friends to Lake Como in Florence, and the food was so good. I love eating, so that was my main goal being in Italy, to see how much food I could eat.

What was your favorite dish that you tried while there?

This is the dish that made me not vegan anymore. I was in Florence, and I was at a restaurant and I saw everybody around me ordering the steak, and I was like, "Oh my God, we have to try it. Don't tell anybody, guys. Don't tell anyone." So we got a Florentine steak, and it was amazing. But obviously, the pasta was so good, too.

What is your favorite thing to cook or order for takeout?

I love cooking pasta. The only thing I eat is pasta. I really like ordering Indian food. To cook pasta, but takeout Indian.

Who was your first celebrity crush?

Megan Fox, obviously.

What is your ideal first date?

If it could incorporate traveling, that would be cool. I know that's maybe an unpopular opinion, but I would love to go on an adventure with somebody and discover something new or try something new. But food also has to be heavily involved as well.

What is the most romantic thing you've ever done/that's ever been done for you?

One time, this girl ordered flowers to my house. It was a huge bouquet from a local florist, and it was so beautiful. I opened my front door, and I saw them on my doorstep and I was like, "Oh my God, that's so cute." I totally wasn't expecting that.

What is the best love advice you've ever received?

Be with somebody who excites you. I think that's really important, because I think romance can be tied into a lot of different expectations, whether it's from parents, your social group, or whatever expectations you're feeling around romance and relationships. I think what has always guided me and never led me astray is to just follow what excites me in any part of life.
