Naomi Osaka Just Shared a First Glimpse of Her Daughter — and She's Wearing a Tennis Outfit!

Naomi Osaka is a mom! On July 11, People reported that the 25-year-old tennis champ, who withdrew from the 2023 Australian Open in early January, gave birth in Los Angeles to a baby girl with 25-year-old boyfriend Cordae. "They are doing well," a source told the publication of Osaka and her newborn baby.

While the tiny tot's name has yet to be revealed, Cordae first revealed the arrival of his daughter during his recent show at the Calgary Stampede, according to the official Olympics website.

Then, on July 13, Osaka shared the first image of her baby — though the little girl's face is not visible in the image. In the photo, the baby wears a pair of footed pajamas featuring tennis racket embroidery. "Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program 🎾✌🏾💕," wrote Osaka.

The exciting news comes six months after Osaka announced her pregnancy, which she revealed with a sonogram photo shared on Instagram. In her initial announcement, Osaka — who's been dating her rapper boyfriend Cordae since 2019 — shared a letter noting how excited she is to tackle motherhood.

"I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I'm looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, 'that's my mom,' haha,'" she wrote in her Notes app. "2023 will be a year that'll be full of lessons for me and I hope I'll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I'll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely."
