Watch Your Favorite Star Wars Character Make a Surprise Appearance at the Critics' Choice Awards

John Knoll, chief creative officer of Industrial Light & Magic, took the stage at the Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday night to graciously accept the Genius Award on behalf of the company's work in visual movie effects. After J.J. Abrams introduced Knoll, he was joined by none other than everyone's favorite Star Wars: The Force Awakens character, BB-8. The adorable little droid rivaled even Jacob Tremblay's heart-melting speech from earlier in the night in its levels of cuteness, so check it out above!
