Watch Tom Hardy Bring the Bestseller Child 44 to the Big Screen

Working your way through all the books that inspired 2015 movies? I hope you've gotten to Child 44, because the trailer is out for the Cold War thriller. Hardy plays a former secret policeman investigating a series of child murders in Soviet-era Russia. The movie looks extremely intense, but it's great to see Hardy reunited with his Dark Knight Rises costar Gary Oldman and his Drop costar Noomi Rapace. It's based partially on the true story of the Red Ripper (aka Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo), a serial killer who murdered women and children in Russia during Joseph Stalin's reign.
