Following its astounding 18 Emmy nominations, Fargo has earned a second-season renewal from FX. The new season will feature an all-new cast, a new time period, and a new "true crime" story that will unfold over 10 episodes. It's not surprising that the show has been renewed — it did score an outstanding miniseries Emmy nod — but it is kind of interesting to hear FX is adopting the same anthology format it uses for American Horror Story. I'm not complaining; this is a fantastic way to maintain that great Fargo feel and get an all-new story. No details yet on a release date, but we'll let you know.
