Season Two Starts With a Time Jump

The first season of The Flash concludes amid action and drama, but executive producer Greg Berlanti confirmed at Comic-Con that the show will pick up a few months after the chaos. "We deal with the fallout of the cataclysm that happened at the end of the year," he said. "As we used the particle accelerator to introduce the metahuman, we’ll be introducing characters from Earth 2 on the show." Oooh!

While Demore Barnes has joined the cast as Henry Hewitt, aka the Firestorm villain Tokamak, the main villain will be Zoom. Tony Todd, who played the Candyman in those terrifying horror movies, will voice the villain. "Part of the mystery of the season is who or what is underneath the Zoom outfit," said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, of the casting choice. "So we wanted to do something like James Earl Jones as Darth Vader."
