One Direction's "Perfect" Video Is — Dare We Say — Perfect

The video for One Direction's new song is out. You know, the one that doesn't not sound like it's about Taylor Swift. "Perfect" is from their upcoming album, Made in the A.M, due out on Nov. 13, and some of the lyrics are a little eyebrow-raising. First, it sounds like they're just looking for a casual hookup: "I can be the one you love from time to time." But then it takes a turn: "If you like cameras flashing every time we go out." Hmmm. Then this: "If you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about." It's basically the smoking gun of One Direction lyrics. There's also a striking similarity to part of Swift's "I Wish You Would," in which she sings, "It's 2 a.m. in your car, windows down, you pass my street, the memories start." The chorus to "Perfect" starts: "If you like when I'm driving with the windows down." Curious, isn't it? Watch the New York-set video above!
