Here Are the Oscar Nominations!

Nominations for the 87th annual Academy Awards were announced from Beverly Hills this morning. Chris Pine, Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs, and directors Alfonso Cuarón and J.J. Abrams were on hand to reveal both the acting and technical nominees. The big nominees are The Imitation Game, Birdman, Boyhood (which won best picture at the Golden Globes), and The Grand Budapest Hotel, all of which scored nods for best picture, best director, plus some acting. Exciting highlights: first-time nominee Emma Stone is alongside Meryl Streep for best supporting actress, and Whiplash is up for best picture! On the downside, Jennifer Aniston's performance in Cake was snubbed, as was Amy Adams's Golden Globe-winning performance in Big Eyes.
