Taraji P. Henson Channels Her Inner Cookie Lyon as She Rips James Corden to Shreds

It's hard to imagine anyone other than Taraji P. Henson playing Cookie Lyon on Empire. Not only was she nominated for an Emmy for her role, but she brings to life everything we want and need in a female heroine. It's almost hard to believe she had any competition at all. On The Late Late Show on Tuesday night, though, host James Corden revealed that he also auditioned for the role, and let's just say, things got a little heated.
