Get Excited For The Vampire Diaries Season Premiere With All the Pictures

The Vampire Diaries is coming back for its sixth season this week, and we've been able to feast our eyes on the trailer and the behind-the-scenes pictures, and we also have the official premiere pictures. Alaric (Matthew Davis) has returned, and he's got a new love interest in the form of Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, but nowhere to be found are Elena and Stefan. Yeah, we know why Damon's not there, but where are all our vamp friends? Check out the pictures now.

Alaric is going to struggle with being a vampire now (and, presumably, the whole being-alive thing again).

While Caroline will try to reverse the antimagic spell.

Reanimated Alaric is still hanging with the kids at parties.

So, is Alaric going to go Ripper or be a controlled vampire?
