Deadpool, Marvel's X-Men Spinoff, Finally Gets a Release Date

It's been years since talk of a movie based on Marvel's character Deadpool first started circulating, and the production company (along with Fox) has finally set a release date. The X-Men spinoff, expected to star Ryan Reynolds, will be released on Feb. 12, 2016. Though Reynolds portrayed the character, aka Wade Wilson, in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, no official deal is in place yet. I have my fingers crossed that this will go better for the star than 2011's Green Lantern, which suffered from poor reviews and a low box-office turnout.
