Ben Platt Singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" Is a Dream We Dared to Dream (That Really Did Come True)

In celebration of Passover, Ben Platt, Billy Porter, Cynthia Erivo, Idina Menzel, Fran Drescher, Dan Levy, and many more stars got together for a virtual Seder to help raise money for the CDC Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund (which has raised $2.35 million and counting). Throughout the "Saturday Night Seder" special, the various stars told the story of Passover adding their own unique spin as a way to keep both those familiar with the story and those learning for the first time entertained.

With a roster full of Broadway stars like Platt, Porter, and Erivo, it's no wonder they included renditions of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "Let My People Go," and "When You Believe."
