Things Get Really Uncomfortable When Octavia Spencer and Kevin Costner Square Off

Kevin Costner plays a loving grandparent who may or may not be slightly racist in the trailer for Black or White. When his wife dies, he's faced with the challenge of raising his half-black granddaughter on his own, but the girl's other grandmother (Octavia Spencer) is ready to battle for custody. It doesn't really get interesting until a lawyer asks Costner's character if he dislikes black people and Costner says, "Not all of them." This is uncomfortable. The movie opens in wide release on Jan. 30; watch the trailer below.
