Over the holidays, Jordan Peele released the trailer for his highly anticipated new thriller, Us. While the internet was reeling over the insanity that ensues while Luniz's classic song "I Got 5 on It" plays in the clip, one Twitter user noticed some striking connections between Peele's film and The Proud Family Movie. Yep, that Disney Channel Original movie, released in 2005, involving our beloved Penny Proud; her overprotective dad, Oscar; and their iconic family on an all-inclusive vacation.

Twitter user @umcornell shared the "trailer" with the dialogue of Us over The Proud Family Movie trailer, and the results are wild. Peele even chimed in himself, sharing the original YouTube video of the mashup and some laughing emoji.
