The Muppet Movie Is Returning to Theaters This Summer For Its 40th Anniversary

The Muppets are ready for their close-ups . . . again. Per an announcement made by Fathom Events, the Jim Henson Company, and Universal Pictures, The Muppet Movie is making a special return to the big screen this Summer to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The film is returning to select theaters around the country for just two days, so if you're a big fan of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the gang, you might want to get your tickets while you can.

Fans will be able to catch the The Muppet Movie — which sees the Muppets road tripping across America to catch their big breaks in Hollywood — playing at over 700 movie theaters nationwide on July 25 and July 30. It's set to play at each theater at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time on both days. For a complete list of theater locations and to check and see if the movie will be playing at a theater near you, visit the Fathom Events website. Tickets are currently available online and at participating movie theater box offices.
