New Characters

To make up for the loss of memorable characters like Simon Asher (Tate Ellington) and Drew Perales (Lenny Platt), there are four major additions coming to Quantico this Fall:

  • Owen Hall (Blair Underwood): TV Line reported that Alex will find a new mentor while training at the CIA in the form of Owen Hall, a "charming and direct" (and handsome) CIA officer played by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Blair Underwood.
  • Dayana Mampasi (Pearl Thusi): After appearing in The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, South African actress Pearl Thusi is set to play the part of Dayana, "a driven, disciplined, type-A lawyer." Does this mean one of the NATs is going to run into a little legal trouble? Knowing them, that's a given.
  • Harry Doyle (Russell Tovey): Audiences first fell in love with Russell Tovey in hit British shows like Being Human and Him & Her, so it's going to be exciting to see what he does in the role of Harry Doyle. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harry is going to stir up some trouble for Alex and the rest of the gang as a slick spy who is "just as likely to seduce your husband as he is to pick his pocket when it's over."

Alex Is Taking on a Role at the CIA

If you remember the cliffhanger at the end of season one's tense finale, Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) is propositioned with an opportunity to leave the FBI for a clean slate at the CIA. Since Underwood's character, Owen Hall, is described as Alex's mentor in the CIA, it's clear she took the job. Chopra has been seen filming scenes for season two in her best, most government-friendly power suit, so do with that what you will.
