If you think Raw is just another horror flick, think again. It's a coming-of-age story hidden within disturbing cannibalistic violence, which was reportedly so visceral it made multiple people pass out at the Toronto International Film Festival back in September. The graphic French film is directed by Julia Ducournau and follows the smart-but-socially-awkward Justine (Garance Marillier), who has just enrolled in veterinary school. Squeezed in between all the sex, partying, and hazing is a whole lot of carnage, which will no doubt make it one of 2017's most buzzed-about movies.
