The real jam is goin' down folks. On Wednesday, HBO Max dropped the latest Space Jam: A New Legacy trailer — the highly-anticipated sequel to the beloved 1996 original. After 25 years, the Tune Squad is getting back together, this time with the help of Lakers star LeBron James. He ends up in a Looney Tunes universe and must face off against the villain's (played by Don Cheadle) team to rescue his son. Sound familiar?

There's just the right amount of callback to the OG film starring Michael Jordan, but clearly, "King James" will be giving the story his own twist. (Although, we're still holding out hope for a Jordan cameo.) Watch the full trailer above to revel in all the nostalgia, action, and of course, the classic "Space Jame" tunes. The movie will be available in theaters and to stream on HBO Max on July 16.
