Grab some cumin and turmeric, because it's once again time to spice up your life! In November, Spice Girls rereleased their seminal 1997 album "Spiceworld" to celebrate its 25th anniversary. On March 9, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their single "Stop," they also released a new alternative version of the music video for the track. "Stop" hit No. 2 on the UK Singles chart and No. 16 on the Billboard Top 100. It was one of their last singles before Gerri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice) left the band later that year. Watch the video above!

The new alternative video shows, from start to finish, the five women dancing in the street in unison in Ireland. Shots from the dance appear in the original "Stop" video in much smaller segments. In the new video, their choreography is much clearer — and it would make an enjoyable TikTok dance challenge. The new and original videos were filmed in January 1998. The first video showed the five Spice Girls running around, causing chaos, playing with kids, and receiving dirty looks from their elders.

Though Halliwell left the band in 1998, Spice Girls stayed together until 2000, releasing one more album, "Forever," that year. All five members — Melanie Chisholm, aka Mel C, aka Sporty Spice; Melanie Brown, aka Mel B, aka Scary Spice; Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice; Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice; and Halliwell — reunited in 2007 for a world tour. They reunited again in 2012 to perform at the Olympics in London. In 2019, they came back together, minus Posh, to tour throughout the UK and Ireland. Less officially, they also got together at Halliwell's birthday party in November 2022 to sing her happy birthday.

Outside their Spice Girls activities, they've all been very busy. Beckham, of course, has her fashion line, plus her four kids and husband, David, to keep her busy. Mel B got engaged to Rory McPhee in 2022 and had three kids; she released a memoir, "Brutally Honest," in 2018. Mel C released a memoir, "Who I Am," in 2022 and has one daughter. Bunton works as a TV host in both America and the UK, and married longtime partner Jade Jones in 2021. They share two children. Halliwell is married to Christian Horner, the team principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, and often travels to races around the world with him. She has three children. She's set to appear in the upcoming racing movie "Gran Turismo" this summer.
