Holy Sith! The Custom Lightsabers in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Will Blow Your Mind

There's no shortage of activities and entertainment in Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, but one of the land's biggest draws has to be Savi's Workshop. It's the place everyone was buzzing about when I went through for the first time. Inside the mysterious outpost building on the fictional planet of Batuu, park guests over the age of 5 can build their own lightsabers and pledge their loyalty to the Dark or Light Side.

While in Galaxy's Edge, eager builders can meet one of Savi's Gatherers to begin assembling their desired lightsaber. The first step is choosing a hilt. Are you drawn toward Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, or Protection and Defense? This will help in selecting your hilt, and aid the Gatherers as they pick your kyber crystal (aka the "heart" of your lightsaber), which comes in red, blue, green, or violet.

Once you have your hilt and kyber crystal, you can choose two sleeves, an emitter, a pommel cap, and a set of activation plates and switches. The Gatherers will then connect your hilt to a 31-inch lightsaber blade and send you on your way with a carrying case included. At $200, this is not the most wallet-friendly souvenir in the park, but its one-of-a-kind qualities may make it worth the splurge. If you're interested, make sure to rush straight to Savi's since reservations are sometimes needed and appointments fill up quickly!
