No matter how many modeling gigs Gigi Hadid lands, one quality that hasn't changed is her candidness in interviews. As Allure's December cover star, she opened up about her childhood, social media accounts, and modeling career, revealing she was obsessed with photographers early on, as well as "where models fit in" when it came to capturing a scene.

On the magazine's cover, Gigi strips down in a pink, lace dress, giving off the sexy yet supersweet vibe that she's known for. In the editorial snaps, she can be seen naked on a horse, aka something that'll likely make you do a double take.

It's clear Gigi takes her job seriously, and in the interview reveals she knew modeling wouldn't be easy. "I guess I saw what a lot of people don't see in models, which is that it's hard work, and you're not just another object in the photo," she told the magazine. Read on for more tidbits from the interview with quotes from the always inquisitive and humble model.

Gigi on Her Social Media Presence

"I wish I had a strategy to [social media]. I could write a book and make millions. But I never feel like I'm working when I'm doing social media. I guess I succeeded at it because it came naturally.”

Gigi on Becoming Interested in Modeling

"I was obsessed with photographers and where models were supposed to fit in. Obviously, I'm not taking iconic pictures as a six-year-old, but I studied models as part of an image, not just as a model, if that makes sense.”
